Chorlton Wanderers Ride:Woodhouse gardensMeet Chorlton Water Park, car park, entrance at the end of Maitland Road, off Barlow Moor Road, Manchester M21 7WH. Route: along the full length of the Fallowfield Loop to Fairfield, then on to Daisy Nook. We pass through Daisy Nook up past the old canal locks and into Woodhouses for lunch at the Woodhouse Gardens pub. After lunch, we pick up the old canal to Park Bridge Iron Works, then up a short steep rise to pick up the old rail track (Route 626) back into Ashton. Then its on road until we get to Fairfield again & back down the Floop. If the weather is not good, we can shorten the ride after lunch by dropping down the hill into Clayton Vale and pick up the Floop again. 27 miles. |

We'll cycle through Angel Meadow, NOMA, past Victoria station, Chethams Library, Manchester Cathedral, Spinningfields, MOSI, Castlefield, Hulme Park, the Gay Village and the Northen Quarter. 6 miles route. Station south:Pym's Crown Reliability RideStart: Station South 975- 977 Stockport Road, Off Crayfield Road, Lenenshulme, Manchester M19 3NP. Leave times will be 2 minute intervals between teams. We recommend you ride in a small group of 2 or 3, but how you ride it is up to you, and you can ride it alone if you choose. Distance/Terrain : 100km with 2000 mtrs of climbing. All road, some steep sections. There are multiple bail out positions as the route overlaps. Speed : Whatever you want! We will set up a contact number if you are going to arrive after 4pm. Rapha:Saturday RideStart:Rapha Cycle Club, 5 St Ann's Passage, Manchester M2 6AD. The Clubhouse Rides have a non-drop policy and head out into Cheshire and the Peak District, exploring new routes. Check the registration button for new rides happening each week. Distance: Our Saturday Club Ride usually averages roughly 60 - 80km. Pace: The Saturday ride averages between 22-26km/h. Terrain: All routes use quiet A and B roads, however there may be occasions where the group ride on busier roads especially on entering and leaving Central Manchester. Joyriders Women's Intermediate Ride from didsbury to bramhall parkMeet: Car park next to St James church and The Didsbury pub, Stenner Lane, Didsbury M20 2RQ. The route starts near Fletcher Moss gardens and goes via Abney Park and Ladybrook cycleway to the beautiful leafy Bramhall Park where we’ll have coffee at their Stables café. We then loop back via the back roads and tracks of Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle including Bruntwood Park. It's all on varied routes is about 13 miles in total and the routes includes an exploration of the delights of Bramhall Park. Book here |
