Sun 14th10am chorltonwanderers.jpgChorlton Wanderers Ride to GawsworthMeet at Chorlton Water Park, car park, entrance at the end of Maitland Road, off Barlow Moor Road, Manchester M21 7WH. Route: Hilly in parts & is 45 miles long. This is a relatively challenging wander, there are hills but not as severe as the Tour de Macc. We will be using the cycle track alongside the a555 & will be going through Poynton to join the Middlewood Way. We will then proceed to Gawsworth via Macclesfield. After lunch at the Harrington Arms, we will return via Alderley Edge, Wilmslow & the airport perimeter track.

Our ride will take us through Lymm, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Mobberley and back into Hale Barns via the Airport Road tunnels. This ride will be at a fairly brisk average pace, something like 15-16mph.
